02 //  Third-Party Services Limitation:

This directory lists independent third-party emergency medical providers, national helplines, and psychiatric institutions in Kenya. We do not operate, control, or monitor these independent entities. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or quality of care provided by the contacts listed. Luam assumes no liability for any actions, omissions, or medical interventions resulting from your contact with these providers.

03 // Zero Personal Data Retention:

In compliance with Kenya's Data Protection Act and the Digital Health Act, this emergency resource acts strictly as a passive data processor. 05 // Professional Licensing and Regulation:

All clinical services, counseling, and psychiatric evaluations accessible through Symmetry are delivered strictly by practitioners registered and licensed under the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (MPDB) or the Counselors and Psychologists Board of Kenya. Our professionals operate strictly within the legal scopes of practice defined by the laws of Kenya.

06 // Scope of Telehealth Services:

By utilizing our platform, you acknowledge that virtual consultations are subject to the inherent limitations of digital interventions. Prescription of controlled substances or emergency mental health restraint cannot be performed fully online. Telehealth services through this platform are strictly reserved for individuals physically residing within the Republic of Kenya at the time of the consultation.

07 // Exclusion of Acute Psychiatric Emergencies:

While our licensed practitioners offer mental health interventions, Symmetry is not a real-time crisis response center. If you or someone you are assisting is in immediate danger of self-harm, severe trauma, or acute medical escalation, you must bypass scheduling platforms and call the toll-free emergency hotlines (such as 0800 723 253 or 1199) or physically report to the nearest 24/7 psychiatric emergency facility immediately.

08 // Sensitive Personal Health Data:

Luam acts as a Data Controller regarding patient medical records. In strict compliance with the Digital Health Act (2023), all electronic health records, consultation notes, and clinical histories are completely encrypted, isolated from commercial advertising vectors, and stored under stringent data governance protocols to safeguard patient confidentiality.
